Luxurious agriturismo in the mountains with wellness centre
This agriturismo is a traditional Gasthof in the mountains. The owners live on the premises and receive you in person. They are always there for you, and are happy to recommend the best restaurants and many activities in the region.
Bar and fireplace outside
Practically every night (depending on the weather, of course!), a fire is lit outside, which serves as a central meeting place at the agriturismo. A nice opportunity for guests to exchange experiences and tips on what to do in the region, while enjoying a drink from the bar. Even on chilly evenings, the fireplace provides enough warmth to enjoy the lovely views of the mountains and the village below you. The bar is open in the morning from 8 am to 12 pm. From Thursday to Sunday also in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm.The bar is the place to go when you feel like having a drink, ice-cream or snack during the day. The agriturismo also has a small shop selling cheese, jam, salumi and other regional products.
Up to the mountain hut on your electric mountain bike
For a romantic day in the mountains, you can rent the agriturismo’s mountain hut for a day. You can walk there (a brisk hike) or hire the electric mountain bikes available. You will also be provided with a rucksack stuffed with local delicacies for a lovely picknick in a mountain meadow. In summer, you may find the agriturismo’s sheep grazing here. Closer to the agriturismo (a five-minute walk) there is a panoramic sun terrace with loungers from which you can enjoy the tranquillity and pristine view in all privacy.
Sauna and hot tubs
The agriturismo has its own wellness centre with sauna, reclining beds on straw, and 2 outdoor hot tubs. A great place to relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the valley and mountains while sipping a herbal tea. You can do this during the day or in the evenings. There is no pool. There are two small skiing areas, 7 and 15 minutes’ drive away, and it’s 30 minutes to Kronplatz - a large skiing centre situated at an altitude of 2,200 metres. The lively village of Brunico takes about 30 minutes by car.
The apartments
The agriturismo has a diverse range of apartments, suitable for couples up to groups of 5 people. All of the apartments are situated on the first or second floor, and have at least one balcony. They are provided with a dishwasher, micro-wave oven, kettle, fridge with freezer, TV, wifi, hair-dryer, locker, and under-floor heating.
South Tyrol Holiday Pass
The Holiday Pass gives you free access to all public transport in South Tyrol. So bus, ski bus, local train and even some lifts. You can also take part in the weekly activity programme, in cooperation with the local tourist office. Every week there are guided walks, nice workshops, various demonstrations and tastings (e.g. herbal pesto, cheese, Strudel). Some activities are free, on others the Holiday pass entitles you to a discount.
In short
This agriturismo is ideal for families and couples who want to have a relaxing holiday. A place to recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet of the mountains and enjoy fun activities.
