Luxury agriturismo at walking distance from the beach
Attracted by the fantastic location near the sea and the beautiful photos I really wanted to make an appointment with this agriturismo. Easier said than done. Because the agriturismo was not open yet when I was around, I could not reach the owner. Thanks to a friendly neighbour, who called the owner for me, I finally entered through the wrought iron gates into the property. Persistence pays off! Thankfully my insistence was not for nothing, because it is a beautiful place.
It is situated among vineyards, yet only 250 meters from the coast, a very special combination. You can walk from the grounds of the agriturismo to the sea (no sand beach). It’s just a short drive to beautiful sandy beaches. The lively, bustling seaside town of Otranto is only 7 kilometres away.
The apartments
The agriturismo is beautifully built in the typical style of this region with natural materials and light pastel tones. There are 19 apartments in total, all with a private patio with pergola, garden furniture, outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Ideal for eating outside. The apartments are modern and have air- conditioning, wifi, TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and hair dryer.
Pool, bar and mountain bikes
The highlight of this agriturismo is the beautiful large round pool. Around it is a beautiful terrace with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for all apartments. You could almost forget that the sea is so close and stay by this wonderful pool! There are mountain bikes that can be used by the guests. The grounds of the agriturismo are quite extensive so ideal for cycling. Also for joggers, the terrain is highly suitable!
The agriturismo has a bar where you can enjoy breakfast, a light lunch, or a drink.
In short
The owners of this agriturismo wanted to build some special, luxurious accommodation close to the sea, to enable their guests to enjoy the environment of Puglia peacefully and comfortably. They have certainly succeeded!
