Glamping in an agriturismo on the Tuscan coast

If you are looking for a luxurious safari tent, but you don’t like to stay at a largescale, touristic camping, this agriturismo is perfect. In total there are 16 luxury safari tents surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. There is no possibility to place your own tent or caravan, so it is small scale and quiet. The agriturismo is a wine farm and located just two kilometers from the sea and sandy beaches. In in the summer months (June to mid-September) a bus that takes you to the beach stops near the agriturismo. There is a free beach but you will also find several bars where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. Within walking distance (400 meters) from the agriturismo is a bakery, a bar, a small supermarket and a pizzeria. The cozy Tuscan seaside town of San Vincenzo is 12 km from the agriturismo. There is also a trainstation so you can visit for example Pisa and Florence by train.

The agriturismo has no pool and no playground. However, there is a lot of space for children to play. Cars are not allowed on the grounds but they will bring your luggage with a golf cart to your tent. Nearly every day there are wine tastings at the agriturismo and of course you are welcome to participate. You also may walk freely through the olive groves and the vineyards.

Luxury safari tents

The safari tents have all the comfort you would expect at glamping. They have a kitchen with 2 induction hobs, a fridge and a coffee machine (with cups). They also have a private bathroom with shower and toilet and there is air-conditioning. The tents have a large LCD TV and there is wifi. Outside the lodge tent there is a veranda with table and chairs, a lounge sofa from wood and two beach chairs. Around the tent there is a private garden to guarantee your privacy.

There are three types of lodge tents for 2, 4 or 5 people. The safari tent for 2 persons has a bedroom with double bed. The family tent for 4 persons has a second small bedroom with a bunk bed. The safari tent for 5 persons has also a single bed in the second bedroom with the bunk bed.
