Family friendly Farmhouse - Agriturismo, stylish and very child-friendly!
The heavens opened when I was at this agriturismo, but even so I was attracted to the place. And if it’s nice in the rain, it must be really lovely in the summer! I was received by the kindly proprietress, and we ran through the rain from apartment to apartment.
This agriturismo is a beautiful quiet former olive oil farm from the 17th century. It is situated about 10 km from Pistoia, 25 km from Florence, 35 km from Lucca and 55 km from Pisa. The agriturismo is located 350 metres above sea-level amidst olive groves and vineyards and has a beautiful 3-acre garden.
Pool, children's pool and playground
The agriturismo has many facilities for children.In the vast garden of the agriturismo there are two swimming pools, one of them a children's pool. The children’s pool is heated to a more comfortable temperature, just a few degrees higher. Furthermore, there’s a fun playground, football pitch, table tennis and table football. For the little ones they have children’s beds, highchairs, children’s baths and prams.
The apartments and rooms
There are 6 spacious, comfortable apartments. The apartments are all on the ground floor (entrance, living room and kitchen) with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor. All apartments have a private terrace with table, chairs, parasol and barbecue. The kitchens are equipped with oven and dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and washing machine. The living room has satellite TV, and there is Wi-Fi and airco (fee payable).
