Agriturismo near a lake and a village in central Italy

I have been driving through this part of Italy, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, several times. And I have often thought that I would like to have an agriturismo in this area for my selection. However, it has not been easy to find one that would meet my wishes!
This part of Italy is less known but there is much to explore. It is a perfect destination for those who want to both relax by the lake and visit interesting places. There are several towns around Lake Bolsena, such as Montefiascone, famous for its wine, Marta and Capodimonte with their green walking trails around the lake and Bolsena, the most northern town with a precious lakeside promenade. 

The agriturismo is a few kilometers from Viterbo, where you will find a beautiful medieval historic center, ancient thermal baths where you can bathe in sulfurous water, and many shops and restaurants. Also, don't miss a visit to Civita di Bagnoregio, which can only be reached by a long bridge. You can also visit Bomarzo with its monster park, and the sea is less than an hour away. For those who want to go further south, Rome is only an hour and a half away. But of course, those who choose this area do so first of all because they love the lake!
The agriturismo is located a 2-minute drive from the village and 5 kilometers from the lake, where you can choose between the rugged part with a sandy beach and a few trees, or the more lively part where you will find a green meadow and several bars. If you want to rent a boat to visit the islands in the middle of the lake, I recommend going to Capodimonte, where you will find several lakeside kiosks that, besides renting boats, also make good food and delicious aperitifs! 

I was welcomed by the owner of the agriturismo who proudly showed me what his grandparents built and what he has slowly improved to better accommodate his guests. The agriturismo is located on a panoramic hill overlooking the picturesque Lake Bolsena and is built in the shape of terraces. There are 5 farmhouses with a total of 10 apartments and 3 glamping tents. Just three kilometers away is a small village where you will find bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Don't forget the Est! Est! Est! wine and ask about its history!

Agriturismo in the heart of Italy with pool and spa

The panoramic pool is lower than most apartments, so you'll have to take a little walk downhill if you're staying in a higher-level apartment or a little climb if you're staying in a lower-level apartment. Here you will find gazebos and loungers and great views. The pool is 7x14 meters long and 1.40 meters deep, so for small children bring swimming arm bands! To make sure you lack nothing, a small wellness center has also recently opened with a hydromassage bath, sauna, steam room and emotional showers. Ask about it at reception, they will be happy to advise you on the best treatment for you!

Apartments and Glamping tents

All the apartments of the agriturismo are in rustic Tuscan style. Some are on the first floor, some on the second floor and some have two floors. There are two- and three-bedroom apartments and each has an outdoor area with table and chairs. There are detached cottages while others are part of a country house. To complete the offer, there are also three glamping tents for those who want to stay in a different kind of accommodation. Two of the tents are identical and share a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. They consist of one room with a double bed and a bathroom with bathtub, separated by a curtain. The third tent is the largest and consists of two floors: first floor with double bed and bathroom, separated from the room by a half wooden wall, and loft with futon bed for a child or third person. This tent has a private terrace overlooking the village.
