Farmhouse-Agriturismo for lovers of comfort in Tuscany
This agriturismo is a beautifully restored medieval fortress, centrally located in Tuscany, about 7 miles south of Casole d'Elsa and 16 miles from Siena. Florence is only an hour’s drive away from the agriturismo, and the beach is about 50 miles. The property is spaciously laid out and well maintained, and you will receive a warm welcome from the sympathetic proprietor. He has been in charge of the agriturismo since early 2016, and lives here together with his wife and daughter. The cute little puppy that was jumping around when I visited was very affectionate and sweet. He loves to be petted. I nearly took it home!
Apartments
There are eight apartments on the estate, all with a private and lighted terrace with pergola. There are six two-bedroom apartments, and two three-bedroom apartments. The apartments are very spacious, cosy, and furnished in an authentic Tuscan way. They are equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, juicer, and satellite TV. Around the large swimming pool (16 x 8 meters) there are plenty of beach chairs and parasols. The garden has a shared barbecue and a volleyball court, and there is wifi on the premises. On request, a nearby restaurant organizes cooking workshops. The agriturismo will also gladly rent mountain bikes for you.
