Homely agriturismo with comfortable apartments

This highly accessible agriturismo in the province of Pisa has been recently opened. I was there on a beautiful day in spring and the friendly owner proudly showed me around. The style of the interiors is country chic and with warm colours, materials and furniture every apartment has been given its own character.

The agriturismo is situated along the main road and a kilometre away is a completely new Conad supermarket. This supermarket is open 7 days a week and has a butcher, fishmonger, deli, bakery and a wide range of local products. 5 kilometers from the agriturismo is a typical Tuscan village with a castle from which you have beautiful views over the surrounding area.

Pool & Vegetable garden

The agriturismo has a lovely garden and a swimming pool with sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols. For children there is a wooden garden shed full of toys. There is a large vegetable garden full of local fruits and vegetables, including 12 different types of tomatoes. Upon arrival, guests receive a jar of their own tomato sauce, peperoncino and fresh pasta (from a traditional pasta-maker in the village). In the garden there is a communal BBQ, wood oven (for pizza ) and a long dining table under a pergola which guests may use.

The apartments

There is a total of 7 apartments, all on the ground floor, including 5 apartments with one bedroom and an open loft. These apartments have both at the front and rear a private fenced patio with table and chairs and a lounge set. There are two 2-bedroom apartments, all located on a corner giving them a private terrace and private piece of fenced garden. The apartments feature well-equipped kitchens with microwave, LCD TVs, WiFi and air conditioning (both in the bedroom and living room)
